Managing Director

Monty has developed over 2 GW of solar and 1 GW of wind. He teaches a course in energy project development for law, engineering graduate students, and MBA candidates at UT. Monty served as SVP/GC of Boone Pickens’ Mesa Power Group, where, in addition to project development activities, he was responsible for the renewable energy components of the Pickens Plan. He is a former director of AWEA and was a partner with Vinson & Elkins for over 25 years.

Managing Director

Chris has served as Director of Projects for the Summit Power Group, a developer of renewable, carbon capture, and conventional energy projects. Prior to Summit, he served as SVP of Power Production at Austin Energy, responsible for executive oversight of over 3,000 MW of generation resources. Chris has been a managing director on the board of the Summit Power Group and has served as a director on the board of the South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company. He comes from a rural farming and ranching background.

Managing Director

Jake leads Solar Project Origination in Texas, driving over 1.5GW of solar development in the project pipeline. His expertise spans Project Management, Business Development, Landowner and Third-Party Communication, Financial Analysis, Mapping and Surveying, and Transmission Research. Before joining High Road, he was a Senior Advisor at Trimble-Batjer, managing a $1M+ book of business and spearheading the firm’s Energy Insurance and Bonding Program for contractors in transmission infrastructure, oil and gas, and clean energy. Jake holds a Finance and Real Estate degree from Angelo State University and is currently pursuing his MBA at Texas McCombs.

Chief Financial Officer

Ana actively refines and streamlines financial processes to drive efficiency and productivity. With extensive experience in executive-level financial accounting management and executive development, she has served as a management consultant for multiple Fortune 500 companies and is currently the CFO of a Contracting Firm. At HRCE, Ana works with land and mineral owners to secure surface waivers for project areas while providing financial support for the company.
